The Royal Manitoba 42nd Annual Fiddlers Contest was held in Brandon, Manitoba on Wednesday, April 1st, 2015 at 7:00pm in the Amphitheatre of the Keystone Centre. The event was hosted by CKLQ 880 with Leanne Dote serving as the Master of Ceremonies. The co-ordinators for the event were Ernie Bruneau (administrator) and Laurie Kovak (assistant). See the attached file for the results from the contest.

Rob Richardson and Maria Cherwick and several of their students from the Brandon University gave a 20 minute rendition of Scottish music before the competition, which was very enjoyable.

Thanks goes to Look Music for recording the Fiddling Contest, which was aired the following Sunday on CKLQ 880 from 7-9pm.

Media Sponsors: CKLQ 880 and Star 94.7 FM
Major Sponsors: Manitoba Metis Federation SW Region, Victoria Landing, Kubota, Bruno Productions, Dauphin Country Fest, Reesor’s Jewellers and Ted Good Music, Bruno Productions and Kiwanis Club of Canada.
